Dr. Felix Beck advises and represents national and international clients in all matters of intellectual property law, with a focus on patent law and utility model law. He has experience in various technical fields including telecommunications and computer science, mechanics, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and medical devices.
In addition, Dr. Beck regularly handles cases involving trademark, design and competition law.
Background
Dr. Felix Beck studied law at the University of Freiburg. After passing his first state examination (2016), he worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Public International Law and Comparative Law under Prof. Dr. Silja Vöneky. In 2022, Dr. Beck earned his doctorate (PhD equivalent) with a dissertation on international biotechnology law. He completed his legal clerkship at the Berlin Court of Appeal (Kammergericht), with placements including the Press Chamber of the Berlin Regional Court and the Legal Department of the Federal Foreign Office.
After his admission to the bar in 2022, Dr. Beck first worked at the law firm of Arnold Ruess in Düsseldorf. He has been a bar-certified specialist lawyer (Fachanwalt) for intellectual property law since February 2026. Dr. Beck joined Wildanger in March 2026.

Dr. Beck is a member of the German Association for Intellectual Property and Copyright Law (GRUR), the German group of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property Rights (AIPPI) and the German Bar Association (DAV).
