Christian Koeker advises and represents national and international clients in all matters of intellectual property law – in particular patent, trademark, design and competition law – out of court and before the ordinary courts. The focus of his work lies in the area of technical property rights (patents, utility models).

He is also admitted as a representative before the Unified Patent Court (UPC).

Curriculum Vitae

Christian Koeker studied law at the University of Cologne. He then worked for several years as a research assistant in the field of patent law in an international law firm. He completed his legal clerkship at the Düsseldorf Court of Appeals. Among other, he absolved one station of the legal clerkship in the IP department of an international law firm. In other stages he also worked at the North Rhine Chamber of Pharmacists, where he primarily advised on pharmaceutical advertising law and competition law, and at the 2nd Civil Senate (Patent Litigation Senate) of the Düsseldorf Court of Appeals.

In September 2024, Christian Koeker joined Wildanger as attorney-at-law.

Christian Koeker is a member of the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR) and the German Association of Intellectual Property Professionals VPP.
